Our client is an established Modern Mediterranean restaurant in Melbourne's bayside area and is seeking an experienced Head Chef or Sous Chef to take control of the fully functioning kitchen and lead the team to continued success. Ideally, you will be a chef with fresh ideas and able to deliver and present great food under pressure. The successful applicants will have broad knowledge of Middle Eastern and European cuisine, be hard working, passionate about your chosen craft and equipped to work around problems and find solutions. In order to obtain this role you will need to demonstrate this essential criteria: - Minimum 2 - 3 years experience in a similar position
- Broad knowledge of various cuisine
- Fully competent in all kitchen financials
- Experience in creating and developing menus
- Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills
- Available for immediate start
